Sahara sand grown Bahamas …

A new study by geologists from the University of Miami suggests that dust from the Sahara have played a major role in the formation of the Bahama Islands. http://enjoycoloring.com/tag/cute/ Rich in iron, they would literally fertilized shallow sea covering this carbonate platform, allowing cyanobacteria proliferate. As it grows, these organizations indirectly produce calcium carbonate precipitates.
